At Sameday Dental, we are proud to support newcomers and refugees through the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). This program provides emergency dental coverage and other essential health benefits for individuals in Canada who do not yet have access to provincial, territorial, or private healthcare coverage.
What the IFHP Covers
The IFHP helps cover a range of urgent dental procedures designed to relieve pain and protect your oral health. Depending on your situation, you may be eligible for services such as:
Emergency dental exams
X-rays
Fillings
Partial dentures
Tooth extractions
In addition to dental benefits, the program also provides access to other medical services, including general health screenings.
If you are unsure about what is covered, our knowledgeable staff will be happy to explain your options and help you understand your eligibility. Please note that the IFHP cannot be combined with private insurance and cannot be used to eliminate a copay from another plan.
